Calicut University has published the Provisional ranklist of candidates who qualified in the entrance test conducted for the admissions to MCJ Programme 2011 in University of calicut. Date and Time/Location of Counselling
Qualified candidates are required to report at the office of the Dept of Mass Communication and Journalism on the University campus at 10.00 AM on 8th of August 2011 for counselling.

Qualified candidates are required to report at the office of the Dept of Mass Communication and Journalism on the University campus at 10.00 AM on 8th of August 2011 for counselling.
Documents to be submitted at the time of Counselling
The candidates have to bring all the ORIGINAL documents such as:
1. SSLC Book/Certificate.
2. Qualifying Certificate (provisional/original).
3. All the mark lists of Qualifying Examination.
4. Certificate of PG Diploma in Journalism if any.
5. Experience certificate in the case of working journalist with two years experience in ABC accredited newspapers.
6. Equivalency/ Recognition Certificate of your qualification if it is not awarded by Central Universities, IITs, IIMs and Universities in Kerala, through regular mode of study.
7. Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate from the Institution where they studied last.

9. Income certificate if they are eligible for fee concession.
10. Non-Creamy Layer Certificate if they claim OBC quota.
11. Community Certificate and BPL Certificate if they claim reservation under BPL quota.
12. Community Certificate if they claim reservation under SC/ST quota.
If selected for admission to the course offered by the Department candidates should remit the first semester fee of Rs. 3390/- on the same day, failing which they will forfeit their claim for admission to the course offered by the Department.
